Shabeer Amirali is Director of Graduate Admissions and Enrollment Management University of Louisville and previously, he was the Director of Marketing, Recruitment, Student Success and Partnerships of the Graduate School at Bradley University. He has a MBA degree in the area of Management and Leadership from Bradley University and Master’s Research Degree in Science from the University of Glasgow UK, after completing his Bachelors of Science Degree in India. He has worked extensively in international graduate enrollment for the last three years. Shabeer is a strategic leader, and student advisor. His specific areas of interest include: international students management, internationalization, graduate education trends and enrollment, online education, and higher education partnerships. He has published articles, reports, and industry white papers. Shabeer has developed innovative strategies {“3C” – Connect, Communicate and Collaborate and ConneCtIonS)} for increasing the recruitment of prospective international students in the graduate programs from inquiry to graduation. Shabeer developed student retention strategies including developing, implementing and maintaining current student communication and social media strategy. He advises international students on admissions, immigration, academics, and ESL programs. He is involved in various community projects, he graduated from Community Leadership School from Peoria Illinois.
Sbabeer serves as STAR Network’s country liaison for India, focusing on the South.
