2020 STAR Conference

The STAR conference is annually organized in different countries around the world by The STAR Scholars Network. The 2020 STAR Conference in Kathmandu, hosted by Nepal Open University, will be held on December 6-8, 2020. The conference emphasizes the strength of humanity as a basis for informing the world about how little effort of individual scholars from across the world living in a small room beside a little computer device can make a difference there and elsewhere. Learning from past disasters and the on-going crisis of COVID-19 pandemic, many emerging scholars and university academics have been trying to contribute to the bank of knowledge in their ways. Despite the risks of the on-going situation, health workers, teachers and members of civil societies have been trying to save members of the public keeping themselves at risk. Millions of students and many hundred teachers who are desperately waiting for their day to see each other on the ground of their schools have been highly influenced by the pandemic. This conference will cover a wide range of such areas and share peculiar experiences of students, teachers, parents and others, and unheard voices of unvoiced.
