Dr. Yadu Prasad Gyawali

Dr. Yadu Prasad Gyawali is Executive Director of the Directorate of International Relations at Mid-West University (MU), Nepal, and an academic leader in English education, digital pedagogy, and internationalisation in higher education. He holds a PhD in English Education and has dedicated his career to promoting transformative, inclusive, and technology-driven education, enhancing teacher professional development, and fostering global academic partnerships.

At MU, he serves as Chairperson of the English Language Subject Committee, a member of the Faculty Board, and an active contributor to a range of academic and policy committees. He has held numerous leadership roles, including coordinating Erasmus+ initiatives, Fulbright Specialist programmes, and global collaborative projects, significantly raising the university’s international profile.

As a scholar and editor, Dr. Gyawali has authored and co-authored multiple books, research papers, and articles in internationally recognised journals, with expertise in teacher education, educational leadership, ICT integration, AI in education, and transformative pedagogy. His contributions have earned honours including Asia’s Innovative Professor Award, the Asian Excellence Award, and the Best Performing Researcher Award (MU, 2024).

An educator and mentor, Dr. Gyawali has supervised many postgraduate students, delivered keynote speeches at international forums across Asia and Europe, chaired academic panels, and led professional development workshops. His work reflects a strong dedication to educational innovation, global collaboration, and societal change, emphasising principles of inclusivity, excellence, and sustainability.
