Dr. Sarfraz Aslam

Dr. Sarfraz Aslam is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education and Humanities, UNITAR International University, Malaysia, where he also chairs the Ethics Committee. He earned his PhD in Comparative Education from Northeast Normal University, China, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Shaanxi Normal University, China, strengthening his expertise in international education and research collaboration.

With over a decade of academic experience across Pakistan, China, and Malaysia, he specialises in comparative education, sustainability, digital technologies, STEM education, and educational psychology.

Dr. Aslam has supervised Master’s and PhD students, contributed extensively to international research, and reviewed doctoral dissertations across several countries. He served as Secretary of the International Council of Associations for Science Education (ICASE) from 2020 to 2026.

Dr. Aslam holds a Scopus h-index of 11 and has published widely in Scopus and SSCI-indexed journals. His research addresses sustainability, inclusive education, digital equity, the circular economy, and comparative education. He has received multiple awards, including UNITAR International University’s Top 10 Researcher Award in both 2023 and 2024.
