Otgonjargal Okhidoi, Ph.D., is an expert of international and comparative higher education. Dr. Okhidoi has a doctorate degree in Administrative and Policy Studies in Higher Education with a focus on Social and Comparative Analysis in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. After graduation, she joined New York University on a multi-year, randomized controlled trial, impact evaluation project as Deputy Research Director. Otgonjargal has over ten years of educational research, program evaluation, and project management experience. As a researcher, her goal is to conduct rigorous research to provide empirical evidence for national and international education policy makers, practitioners, and planners. She worked in Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, and the United States. Prior joining her doctoral program, Otgonjargal worked with international and national non-governmental organizations including UNICEF, Save the Children, and Education Channel Television of Mongolia with an aim to inform and advocate for policy changes that ensure better access and quality of education to all children, especially those who are marginalized due to social and economic factors.
