Dr. Mohammad Shamsuzzaman is an Assistant Professor and Chair in the Department of English and Modern Languages at North South University, Bangladesh.  He earned two Master of Arts degrees in English studies from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, as well as from California State University, San Bernardino. He earned his Ph.D. in English Education from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, in 2015. His areas of interest include L2 composition theories and pedagogy, L2 acquisition, pedagogical grammar, and post-coloniality.
