Dr. Desire Yamutuale, Peel District School Board (Canada)

My interest in international education springs from my own journey as a former international student in Canada. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, I am a graduate of McMaster University (B.A.), The University of Ottawa (B. Ed.), The University of Toronto (M.A.) and Western University (PhD.). For over two decades, I have taught social studies (History and Geography) and French as Second Language K-12 classes within the Toronto and Peel District School Boards. I also taught introductory courses in international education at Western University. My scholarship deals with transnational academic mobility programs and the nurturing of global citizenship.
