
Deepika Neupane is an advocate for marginalized people. She comes from a humble background and is blessed to have received an education at SOS Hermann Gmeiner School, a nonprofit supporting orphans and underprivileged children. The school’s emphasis on community service, leadership, and social responsibility greatly shaped her ideals. During her time there, she led environmental campaigns and extracurricular teams, strengthening her passion for social impact.
Through her involvement in various organizations, she cultivated independence and leadership. These experiences deepened her understanding of teamwork and honed her leadership skills.
Inspired by her father’s veterinary career and recognizing the technological gap in Nepal’s veterinary industry, Deepika chose to study computer science. Her goal is to leverage technology to improve animal healthcare and enhance veterinary services in Nepal.
Currently studying at Dallas College, she has actively engaged in diverse academic and extracurricular activities. The international and dynamic environment at Dallas has broadened her perspective and deepened her drive to use technology for societal advancement.
