Director of Conferences and Strategic Alignment, STAR Scholars Network

Dr. Anuj Kumar is an academician, researcher, and academic leader whose work spans international business, scholarly publishing, and global academic partnerships. As Director of Conferences and Strategic Alignment at the STAR Scholars Network, he helps connect scholars across borders and strengthen the Network’s international conference programs.

Dr. Kumar is Professor and Global Country Head at Rushford Business School, Switzerland, and Professor at the European Global Institute of Innovation and Technology, Malta. He also serves as Honorary Research Fellow at INTI International University, Malaysia, and Visiting Faculty at VNU University of Economics and Business, Vietnam.

Education
Dr. Kumar holds a dual Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University and the All India Management Association, New Delhi, and completed postdoctoral work in Malaysia. He earned an M.Sc. in International Business from the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, University College Dublin. He also holds three further postgraduate degrees and a Bachelor of Technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.

Research and publications
His research and teaching cover international business, marketing, entrepreneurship, management, research methodology, and organizational leadership. He has authored more than 100 papers in Scopus-indexed journals and over 50 in Web of Science- and ABDC-indexed journals, including ABDC A- and B-ranked and Scopus Q1 and Q2 outlets. He has edited nearly ten academic books with publishers including IGI Global, Emerald, Bentham Science, Nova Science, and Taylor & Francis. His teaching cases appear in Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies, The Case Centre (UK), Small Enterprise Research, and the International Social Science Journal. His course “Publication Process and Journey” holds copyright registration from the Government of India.

Global engagement
Dr. Kumar has organized or participated in more than 75 international conferences across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. He has led over 50 faculty and management development programs. He has built partnerships with institutions in India, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the United States. He is Co-founder and Editorial Head of Confab 360 Degree, which connects researchers and supports scholarly engagement. His competitive funding includes an Indian Council of Social Science Research grant as Co-Principal Investigator and All India Council for Technical Education grants for academic conferences.
