When and Where?
This unique two-day pre-conference will take place in the serene surroundings of Nepal, providing the perfect backdrop for deep focus and learning.
What is it About?
As educational institutions seek innovative ways to support mental health and wellness, the importance of mindfulness and meditation has come to the forefront. This training is designed to equip educators and academic professionals with the tools needed to foster a culture of mindfulness within their communities.
What Will You Do?
Participants will undergo comprehensive training on the latest mindfulness and meditation techniques tailored specifically for academic settings. You’ll learn how to:
– Integrate mindfulness practices into daily academic activities.
– Develop strategies to enhance student and faculty well-being.
– Lead workshops and sessions that promote focus, stress reduction, and overall mental health.
Become a Certified Academic Wellness Ambassador
Upon completion of this pre-conference, attendees will be certified as Academic Wellness Ambassadors, ready to implement and lead wellness initiatives that make a real difference.

- Will travel be provided? To be clear, travel to Nepal is not covered. We have found sponsors that offer local transportation only. Hence, participants are responsible for making travel arrangements to Kathmandu, Nepal.
- Will transportation to the conference be provided? Yes, our sponsors will provide transportation from the hotel to the pre-conference location and back to the hotel. They will also pick participants up from the airport (Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu) and transport them to the hotel if needed.
- Will food be provided? During the two conference days our host will provide us with a light breakfast and vegetarian lunch
- Will hotel be provided? Yes, our sponsors are providing hotel accommodations at Karma Hotel Nepal. Two nights of hotel stay is included. You will have to share a room with another participant. (double occupancy)
