Shahinaz Alkhaldi, Ph. D., is a scholar in Higher Education Administration at Morgan State University. She earned a Diploma Certificate from Alalamiah Institute in Computer Science Programming Technology in Saudi Arabia. She worked there at Dar Al-uloom as a teacher for a year before finishing her Master’s degree. She finished an internship for Mid-term & Final Practicum/Internship Evaluation at George Mason University for the Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs. Through working at George Mason University she was able to participate in the planning and execution of International Cafe (a student-led cross-cultural event) and International Week (co-hosted By OIPS and office of student involvement). She also contributed to the development of User Testing of Global Discovery: The Silk Road (Online Program in collaboration with OIPS and Students). Planning and execution of Ethics Dinner, a global education event in collaboration with LEAD and Communication Department, was one of her highlights. She also coordinated the Program ”Volunteers for International Programs (VIP)”, and assisted in the review of the Annual OIPS Plan for George Mason University. She is currently working as a project coordinator at the STAR Scholars Network.
